Browsers and Where to Get Them

(There are many other browsers out there, but I haven't included any that have a fee or that haven't had an update in the last 3 years)

• Amaya, the browser created by the W3C, is more than just a browser, it's also an editor.
• Arachne - This browser doesn't appear to support XHTML yet. You might want to hold off for a new release.
• K-Meleon - Like other "alternative" browsers, K-Meleon is faster and more streamlined.
• NeoPlanet - Has some nice features. If you're in to skins, this is a good browser for you.
• Opera - One of the best "alternative" browsers, Opera can compete with the big guns. The free version includes advertisements. You can purchase an ad-free version.

Browser Tools

• AnyBrowser.com is a FREE tools that allows you to see what any URL looks like in different browser versions, as well as Web TV.
• NetMechanic: Power Tools for Your Web Site has a tool to check browser compatibility.
• WebSiteGarage's site Tune Up checks for browser compatibility. You can "tune up" one page for free.
